Beskrivelse
En af de sjældne vine fra Chapoutiers Selection Parcellaire serie, der er blandt verdens mest sjældne og eftertagtede vine.
“These are among the world’s greatest wines, especially the single vineyard wines, many of which will last 50 or more years.”
“These wines are for true connoisseurs….. they capture the essence of a vintage and terroir”
“The single vineyard offerings are as good as Rhone Valley wines can be.”
- The Wine Advocate
“As usual, Chapoutier's 2018 Ermitage l'Ermite is a standout among standouts. Crushed stone, blueberries, even a touch of herb feature on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is cool and crunchy but also ripe and generous. It's rich and long, with a firm, granitic structure that should enable two-plus decades of aging. This has it all. 98-100/100” – The Wine Advocate
“An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes ripe black/blue fruits, Moroccan spice, potpourri and incense. Densely packed and impressively lively on the palate, offering intense blueberry, cassis, cherry compote and floral pastille flavors that firm up steadily on the back half. The floral and spice notes carry emphatically through an impressively long, youthfully tannic finish that leaves a smoky mineral flourish behind. 96-98/100” – Vinous
"In the same vein, the 2018 Ermitage L’Ermite has a pure, liquid rock-like mineral component as well as a tight, dense style in its crème de cassis, violets, acacia flowers, crushed stone, charcoal, and peppered game-like aromas and flavors. While this showed a more plush, sexy character from barrel (which led me to compare it to the Pavillon), it's a classic L'Ermite from bottle and is full-bodied, tight, concentrated, and structured. It's a magical Hermitage in the making yet won't hit maturity for 10-15 years and should keep for 30+. 98+/100" - Jeb Dunnuck
“This is very pure with a lovely intensity of fruit and impact, remarkable tension and saline edge. It has real drive and thrust and is just a little leaner and lower in alcohol than some recent vintages. 96/100” – Decanter
“Super-youthful red fruit with full body and chalky tannins. Still feels quite disparate – the parts are all delicious, but don’t gel together yet. Growling tannins. Lots of fruit persistence on the finish. Behemothic, if that’s a word (and even if it isn’t).” 18+/20” – Jancis Robinson
